Self-service access at Nastola Library will be restricted from 26 June until further notice.
From 26 June 2026, the self-service hours at Nastola Library will be as follows:
Mondays 6:00–13:00, Tuesdays 6:00–13:00, Wednesdays 6:00–10:00 and 17:00–19:00, Thursdays 6:00–13:00, Fridays 6:00–10:00, and weekends and public holidays 6:00–15:00.
On eves of public holidays, there is no self-service access after staffed service hours end.
Restricting the self-service hours at Nastola Library is necessary due to disruptive behaviour. The library’s self-service hours have been temporarily restricted several times before. Behaviour in the unsupervised space has been inappropriate and in violation of the rules, particularly during evenings and weekends. Multiple persons have repeatedly been let into the library without logging in as a user, and there have been instances of mess and vandalism. Limiting the self-service opening hours is a necessary measure to ensure the safety of both the library premises and its customers.
