Suggest a book for next year’s Lastu Libraries Adult Reading Diploma

Lahti City Library has an open survey related to the Lastu Libraries Adult Reading Diploma. Everyone of all ages is warmly invited to participate.

Do you have book suggestions for the 2026 Reading Diploma? Tell us!

Suggest a book for a new theme category in next year’s Reading Diploma. The Customer Choices category will include ten works selected from customer recommendations. The genre can be anything—from fiction to non-fiction, comics to poetry.

Submit your suggestion by 16 November here (link opens in a new window).

You can also comment on and upvote other suggestions.

All participants who submit a suggestion will be entered into a draw for book prizes.

What is the Adult Reading Diploma?

The Lastu Libraries Adult Reading Diploma is completed by reading one book from at least ten different theme categories. The goal of the Reading Diploma is to inspire reading. There is a Facebook group for the Reading Diploma where reading experiences are shared.

The survey is conducted on the OmaLahti.fi website, which is Lahti City’s platform for participation and influence, where you can share your opinions on current issues concerning Lahti. You need to register and log in to the site.

* Library staff will select suitable works from the suggestions for next year’s Reading Diploma while preparing it. Please note that not every suggested book will automatically be included in next year’s Reading Diploma.
