Laune Library thanks its customers for the years together. Laune Library closed its doors on 31 December 2025.
In autumn 2024, the Wellbeing and Leisure Committee unanimously decided to close Laune Library as of 1 January 2026.
In southern Lahti, services are provided by the Renkomäki Library, Liipola Library, and the mobile library. In southwestern Lahti, Kärpänen Library will serve customers. The main library and other local libraries in Lahti – Ahtiala, Jalkaranta, Mukkula, and Nastola – are also available.
