Lahti Libraries Are Mapping Their Wellbeing Impact Through a Customer Survey – Your Experience Matters!

Lahti City Library is conducting a survey to explore how libraries contribute to wellbeing. The survey is open until 7 December 2025.

Impactful Library – Making Wellbeing Visible project, coordinated by Lahti City Library and funded by the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland (AVI), brings together 12 libraries across four regions. The project aims to deepen understanding of libraries’ wellbeing benefits and develop ways to make these impacts more visible.

Libraries support literacy, learning, and inclusion in many ways, but measuring these effects has been challenging. This project helps highlight their importance, improve services, strengthen collaboration, and reinforce libraries’ role in promoting wellbeing.

Take part in the survey (open 17 November – 7 December 2025)
Tell us how you use the library and what wellbeing benefits it brings to your everyday life. Your feedback will help us demonstrate the value of libraries and develop better services.

Survey only in finnish language. You can use online translator service of your choice to read it and answer it.
Customer Survey (opens in a new window). Or fill out a paper form at your library.

Thank you for helping us make libraries’ wellbeing work visible!
