Mobile Library Saaga's autumn routes have been updated and started operating from August 1st. The route changes are based on customer feedback and anticipate the closure of Laune Library in 2026. There are 13 new stops, and 11 stops have been removed.
Laune has received three new stops. The mobile library will stop at Mäntsäläntie 37 and Etelätie 24 on even weeks. Additionally, it will visit Laune Family Park every Friday from 18:45 to 19:05.
– Laune Family Park is an interesting new stop, says Service Manager Johanna Mattila, who is responsible for the mobile library service.
– We hope that families enjoying the park will also find their way to the mobile library services, Mattila continues.
In South Lahti, customers are also served by Renkomäki Library and Liipola Library. In these locations, library facilities and materials can be used independently every day from 6:00 to 22:00.
The mobile library brings materials close to customers. By reserving materials in advance, customers have access to the entire Lastu library collection.
