Musical instruments can be borrowed for two weeks at a time from several Lastu libraries. During the loan period you can test an instrument for example to decide whether you would like to buy such an instrument for yourself. The library also has a versatile collection of playing guides and sheet music to help you learn to play a large spectrum of music.
Unlike most other materials, the musical instruments must be borrowed from the Lastu library that owns them. They are not sent from one municipality to another. The instruments also have to be returned to a library in the same municipality where they were borrowed.
