Acquisition Request Form

You can request the acquisition of material that is not owned by your own library.
Search the Web Library first to make sure the item you need is not already owned by the library.
Because of copyright reasons, libraries may not acquire all DVDs and other video material.
All requests are taken into considerations but unfortunately, everything cannot be acquired.

Library Card Application Form

This form can be used to apply for a library card. You can collect the card from any Lastu library 3 working days after you have sent the application. You can apply for a library card for a child only if you already have a library account of your own.

Library Cards for Schoolchildren during a Library Visit

It is possible for schoolchildren to get their first library card during a class visit to the library by presenting a library card application form. The form must have the signature of the child’s guardian or guarantor, and the signature must be approved by the teacher. The child can get the card only if the guarantor already has a library account.

Interlibrary Loan Request Form

Using this form you can send an interlibrary loan request to your library. Select the library where you would like to pick up the material.

Before submitting an interlibrary loan request, always check whether the material you need can already be found in the Lastu libraries. Only material that is not owned by any Lastu library may be requested through the interlibrary loan process.

An interlibrary loan request is binding. You will have to pay for the item even if you do not pick it up.

Check that your contact information is correct! You will be notified of an item that is ready to be picked up either by email or by text message, depending on which option you have selected in your library account.

Contact information may be changed in the Lastu web library. Log in to your account and then click on ”Profile”.

Space Reservations

You can find the spaces that can be reserved on the Library spaces page in the web library. Space reservations in the Lahti Main Library should be made via the Timmi booking system except for the spaces below.
